About the Role:
As an Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Automation team, reporting to the Operational Automation Supervisor. Your main responsibilities include providing technical support, maintenance, and improvement of automation for production equipment. You will also collaborate on site improvement projects and assist with automation validation activities.
How You Will Contribute:
- Administer and maintain automated systems for production equipment.
- Provide expert automation support to various departments.
- Conduct factory acceptance and on-site testing for automated systems.
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations on site.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge with PLC and supervision software development like Rockwell Control Logix and IFIX (GE).
- Carry out FAT and SAT test and commissioning of automated systems.
- Proficiency in writing functional and design specifications.
- Knowledge of GMP requirements and industry regulations.
- Strong team spirit with a proactive attitude.
- Curiosity to learn and share knowledge.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in French; English proficiency is a plus.
- Familiarity with standard computer tools.
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Advantageous:
- Experience with biotechnology automated processes and systems.
- Familiarity with OsiSoft PI and Inmation (Emerson) is an advantage.
