As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for a Trading Systems Product Manager to work in a highly experienced Trading Applications Team on a contract basis starting ASAP to support a crucial IT modernisation program.

This is a rolling 12 month contract running with option to extend up to five years starting by August.

As the Product Manager you would manage a couple of Products within the team’s Trade Application Portfolio and enjoy close interaction with the Product team, other PMs in the department and key stakeholders

Your responsibilities include the following:

• Drive the execution of all processes in the product life cycle including initiative initiation, requirements gathering, implementation, testing and production delivery.
• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on business objectives.
• Translate the product strategy into actionable requirements with target deliveries.
• Maintains the Trade Management System’s product strategy based on business demand, resilience, and team initiatives.
• Serve as a main point-of-contact for business areas and other teams for changes related to the Trade Management System.
• Maintain the backlog of changes required to run the Trade Management System by collaborating closely with business area leads.
• Participates in quarterly banking planning to ensure team commitments are aligned with business priorities.
• Distribute backlog items to resources within the Trading Applications team to ensure continuous delivery of enhancements and fixes to the business.
• Facilitates ceremonies as part of agile ways of working including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Provide progress reports to stakeholders.

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
• At least 5 years' experience of which at least 3 years supporting business applications as a Product Owner/Product Manager in a financial institution.
• Knowledge of the full software life cycle
• Experience working with trade management systems in a treasury and/or asset management business.
• Knowledge of the financial trade life cycle
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development teams
• Fluency in English
Please note interviews would be conducted via video call, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland. Our client offers:
