As one of the premier supplier to our client, one of the international financial institutions in Switzerland, Swisslinx are looking for an Data/ ETL Engineer.
Your role:
- Develop and maintain data framework that makes the data accessible and ready for further use
- Gathering business requirements, design and implement solutions based on Oracle / Informatica Powercenter
- Design, develop, test, and document new / changes to integration and reporting applications
- Translate business requirements into data and engineering specifications
- Perform 2nd & 3rd level support for applications under responsibility
Requirements:
- Expert SQL skills, preferably in large enterprise environments
- Banking experience gained with complex ER models
- Very good experience in integration and reporting applications
- Good experience in meta-data driven applications and generic data models
- Data preparation for reporting/analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Very good experience with ETL tool PowerCenter by Informatica
- Very good experience with Oracle (or similar RDBMS)
- 5-10 years general experience with Data Architecture / Data Engineering
