On behalf of our client, a leading international biotechnology company based in Visp, Swisslinx is looking for a Engineering Project Manager. In this role, you will lead and coordinate the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects in a commercial mammalian production line. The role focuses on mechanical adaptations and operational improvements, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and integration with production, quality assurance, and EPCM contractors. The Engineering Project Manager will oversee the project lifecycle, from conceptual design through performance qualification (PQ), ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality requirements.

Your Mission
• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects in a commercial mammalian production line.
• Deliver mechanical adaptations and operational improvements aligned with GMP standards.
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and EPCM contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee project milestones, budgets, and risks, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Drive performance qualification (PQ) activities, validating operational and regulatory compliance.
Your Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or related field); Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of project management experience in biopharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proven success managing GMP-compliant projects from design to qualification.
• Experience working with EPCM contractors and cross-functional teams.
• Advanced skills in budgeting, scheduling, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
• Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Preferred certifications include PMP and Lean Six Sigma.
