On behalf of one of our clients, an International Commodity Trading Boutique, Swisslinx is looking for a Finance Director (60-100%) to join the local team. As a Finance Director you would be overseeing the finance function and work alongside the CEO based in Zug.
Your Mission:
• Manage balance sheet closings, financial controlling and provide forecasting, budgeting as well as financial reports and analysis
• Serve as the primary liaison for banking partners, representing the business in matters related to letters of credit, documentary credit, currency hedging and other financial instruments.
• Control cash flow plannings and intra-group transactions
• Overseeing the accounting function and manage one accountant
• Prepare presentations for investors and represent the company at bank meetings
Your Profile:
• Extensive experience in finance within the commodity trading sector
• Proficient in standard accounting practices and experienced in interacting with financial institutions and auditors
• Comprehensive understanding of trade finance operations and treasury, specifically related to currency hedging, letters of credit and documentary credits
• Proficient in German and English
