As the premier supplier to our client, a leading commodity trading house headquarters in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging and demanding role as Head of IT, permanent and onsite 100%.

The Head of IT will manage and lead the IT Department of 10 people from data/infrastructure engineers and architects.

Duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Analyzed the end-to-end trading/operational workflows, compliance, and technology requirements
- Ownership of the Group Software Application Landscape and Strategy
- Architect Software Solutions and manage the delivery to satisfy the business needs across group activities
- Ensure Business continuity of critical trading applications
- Creation of a Software development team to suit strategy and support the business needs
- Prepare Project proposals and budgets for Group wide projects, such as Group Accounting System

Your background
- +3 years’ experience working as a Head of IT/Team Leader, ideally in the commodities and finance sector
- Previous experience working as a Software Engineer/Developer who has then hired, led and developed and coached software engineering teams
- Experience in design and development using C#, .NET
- Strong experience in Cloud/Azure as well as ERP implementation
- Ideally experience in CTRM/ERTM data integration
- Willing to be onsite 100%
