On behalf of our client, a global leader in the agribusiness sector, Swisslinx is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to manage payroll and benefits tax functions. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all related matters, with a focus on utilizing the SAP payroll system.
Contract Type: Contract
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: 20/12/2025
Location: Basel
Workload: 100%
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify salary entries in SAP, ensuring compliance with legal, tax, and social security regulations
• Serve as the point of contact for payroll, tax, and social security inquiries
• Support external service providers for payroll and time management
• Prepare reports and certificates for family allowances, insurance, and benefits
• Monitor and apply necessary updates in SAP systems
• Record accidents in the UKA system and manage accident allowances in SAP
• Manage Time & Attendance (T&A) issues and time corrections in ATOSS
• Calculate holiday reductions for long-term absences or unpaid leave
• Oversee and manage garnishments
Required Skills and Experience:
• A commercial education degree, with higher education in HR or a comparable field preferred
• Proven experience in payroll processing, HR operations, and time management
• Expertise in SAP payroll systems and processes
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel
• Knowledge of Workday and/or other time management systems
• Fluent communication skills in English (oral and written)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle complex HR operations
