On behalf of our client, an international Biotechnology company based in Bern, Swisslinx is looking for a Lab Relocation Manager to organize the move to new laboratories and reorganize the existing ones. This includes, for example, coordination with all departments concerned and planning, including support for the finance department.
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Duration: initially 12 months
- Extension: possible
- Work on-site
- Workload: 100%
Competence needed:
- Bio-Pharma knowledge (Process/analytical) and lab-organisation experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of working with Bio-hazard materials.
- Good Lab-infra-structure experience (lab requirements like ventilation, environmental safety, power supply, media etc)
- Proven experience managing the complexity of moving to an external lab (logistic, contracts, equipment qualification, etc)
- Oversee the rearrangement in the laboratories.
- Support the communication planing, as a coordinator. Ensure continuous communication with all stakeholders. E.g. Lab managers, LT, external partners, vendors.
- Project management skills: Draft, manage and monitor Project plans and ensuring that all stakeholders have a clear picture of activities and milestones and follow up on execution incl. timely escalation of issues.
Training: Bachelor/Master degree in Science related field.
Languages: English, German is a plus
Experience:
- Management and control of project timelines, budgets, issues and risks
- Providing project status updates
- Work experience in laboratory of biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
