On behalf of our client, a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, Swisslinx is seeking a Laboratory Systems Analyst to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will support laboratory instrumentation and automation infrastructure in an operational testing environment while ensuring compliance with GxP requirements.
Contract type: Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Bern, Switzerland
Workload: 100%
Duration: 1 year
Your mission:
• Support laboratory instrumentation and automation infrastructure in an operational testing environment.
• Ensure laboratory instrumentation and equipment are qualified, calibrated, and maintained according to company policies and GxP requirements.
• Create documentation in English and German for qualification, validation, and lifecycle management of laboratory automation systems, analytical instruments, and software
applications, in collaboration with Engineering and I&T departments.
• Manage local and global qualification and validation projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on qualification and validation projects, focusing on technical requirements, data integrity, and automation activities.
• Update procedures related to laboratory instrumentation and computerized systems (e.g., USP, 21CFR Part 11, Annex 11 regulations) to ensure compliance with guidelines,
industry best practices, and global harmonization.
Your background:
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure laboratory equipment and automation systems operate in a qualified environment. Your proactive and self-driven approach will enable you to make decisions and drive progress forward.
• University degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics, Computer Science).
• 5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical/medicinal GMP testing environment using a variety of testing instrumentation, with expertise in equipment qualification, CSV, and
lifecycle activities.
• Initial project management experience in an operational environment.
• Knowledge of regulations on computerized systems and laboratory automation, with a willingness to extend expertise in this area.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams locally and globally across all sites.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a technical IT affinity.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member in a high-performance environment.
