On behalf of our client, an international biopharmaceutical company, Swisslinx is looking for a Materials Management Coordinator. If this is you, you will manage delivery planning, coordinate material releases, lead daily meetings, and handle order modifications. You'll collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries, while addressing any issues that arise.
Contract type – Contract
Start Date – mid-October
Location – Neuchatel
Workload – 100%
Duration – 12 months
Your mission:
• Maintain and update delivery plans from order creation to receipt.
• Coordinate operational activities for material release, including leading tier meetings.
• Decide on order modifications and respond directly to suppliers (e.g., accept or reject quantity changes, delivery date postponements).
• Provide visibility on stock-out dates to other departments for their activities (sampling, testing, release).
• Initiate escalation processes when critical issues are identified (e.g., late order postponements, safety stock alerts).
• Lead daily "Raw Material Tiers" meetings, assigning and tracking actions as needed.
• Analyze MRP non-BOM messages and create new orders accordingly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, including creating and updating tutorials for Raw Material Supply Chain activities.
Work with the following internal and external contacts:
• Warehouse: Support receiving issues and smooth delivery planning based on capacity.
• QA: Coordinate release flow, prioritize tasks, and handle IPSO agreement updates and local change activities.
• Laboratory: Coordinate testing flow, provide prioritization, and manage ERP system order placement for lab items.
• Finance: Support invoice matching with operational purchases.
• Purchasing: Handle day-to-day business with suppliers (price updates, escalation).
• Buyers/Planners: Coordinate IPSO requests across plants.
• Suppliers: Follow up on open orders from dispatch to receipt, clarify delivery dates, and resolve issues like missing or inaccurate information.
Your background:
• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of experiences in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge of a GMP environment
• Team spirit and communication skills
• Ability to work on several topics with rigor and methodology
• Capability to work on several activity and prioritization skills
• ERP proficient
• MS office
• English advanced level
