As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for an adaptable and flexible Project Coordinator to join an international team responsible for encouraging innovation and adoption of next technology in Central Banks on an 80-100% basis.

The is a 12 month rolling contract with an option to extend on a long term basis based on the project road maps, with start date no later than 1st March 2025..
Reporting to the Head of Department as part of a global set up the Project Coordinator will support the Swiss Centre by working closely with project managers to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timelines, and budgets for projects.

The Project Coordinator will perform various coordinating tasks like scheduling, procurement related activities, and maintaining project documentation along with administrative duties for the Head of Department.

The work will involve around 75% project management assistant work and 25% supporting the Department Head with administrative tasks.

The team is a small, dynamic, multidisciplinary and multicultural team based in Basel, however always requires occasional work in Zurich.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversees and delegates duties to Project Assistant.
• Guides advisers on procurement, administrative and project-related activities.
• Coordinates stakeholder engagement across projects.
• Works closely with the project managers and the Department Head on multiple projects.
• Coordinates project management activities, resources, events, equipment, information, and the project plan with project stakeholders.
• Oversees project procurement management.
• Works with the project managers to eliminate blockers for team members.
• Communicates with various stakeholders to keep everyone updated about any changes to the project status.
• Assigns tasks to internal teams and assists with schedule management.
• Supports the preparation of presentations.
• Monitors working hours, plans, and expenditures.
• Plans and organises team building activities in collaboration with Department Head and Advisers.

You will possess as many of the following skills as possible:
• Around 5 years of experience in project coordination or project administration e.g. scheduling, procurement related activities, maintaining project documentation etc
• Experience with stakeholder management at various levels
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft products, specifically Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner, and ability to learn new project management tools. In-depth knowledge of databases, SharePoint, MS Office, and MS Dynamics 365
• Fluency in English (German nice to have)
