On behalf a market leading pharmaceutical company with a globally recognised brand, Swisslinx are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join their mid sized Testing Department running in Agile in Berne (home office offered 4 days per week).

Joining the company at an exciting time as they continue their digital transformation, your tasks will include the following:

• Conduct both black-box and white-box testing for features developed by an Agile team, taking ownership of the design, implementation, and execution of tests to ensure end-to-end quality of deliverables.
• Work closely with developers to build a comprehensive automation suite covering all levels of the test pyramid, driving efficiencies and expanding coverage in automation.
• Evaluate built-in quality and provide feedback to the Agile team, actively engaging in the software development process to ensure quality is embedded in the product. Propose enhancements and automated tools to boost the team's speed, quality, and efficiency.
• Become a domain expert by gaining a thorough understanding of the business domain and comprehensive knowledge of the products being tested.
• Maintain a pipeline for continuous testing and continuous integration.
• Document automation testing procedures and results.
• Keep abreast of the latest automation testing tools and techniques

As the perfect candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in software automation testing.
• Proficiency with automation testing frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of German and/or French is highly preferred
