Responsibilities:
• Define hardware/software microsystem architecture for Li-Ion battery charger circuits, tailored for hearing instruments, based on stakeholder requirements.
• Specify electrical requirements and design specifications for the active electronic components, focusing on off-the-shelf parts.
• Create verification and validation plans for the charger circuit, with a focus on bill of materials (BOM) accuracy.
• Provide support for the manufacturing process, ensuring the charger circuit aligns with in-house production workflows.
• Customize charger circuits to fit various form factors of hearing instruments, addressing specific needs of stakeholders.
• Collaborate on defining the Li-Ion battery requirements for portable, on-the-go chargers.
• Contribute to the integration, testing, and validation of the charger circuits.
• Support the development of software components needed for the charger platform.
Qualifications:
• Degree in microelectronic engineering or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in electronic design.
• Familiarity with PDN, SI, and Spice simulation tools.
• Proficient in microsystem architecture design and low-power electronics power management.
• Experience using electronic test equipment for verification and validation.
• Skilled in both hardware and software setups, along with relevant verification tools.
• Strong knowledge of Python scripting and microcontroller programming.
Additional Skills:
• PCB design experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with medical device safety standards (e.g., IEC 60601-1) is a plus.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and related technical requirements.
• Strong task management, problem-solving, and quality-focused approach.
• Comfortable working in a diverse, collaborative environment.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
