On behalf of our client, an international biopharmaceutical company, Swisslinx is looking for a Senior Microbiologist in Microbiological Quality Control. As a member of the QC Microbiology team, you will be responsible for the microbial expertise in task forces for investigations in case of microbiological issues, and optimization of the analytical methods in the area of total microbial count when testing pharmaceutical products. Become part of the team and contribute to providing patients with effective, high-quality treatments!
Contract type: 6 months
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Bern
Workload: 100%
Your mission:
• Support with main microbiological topics, such as implementation or improvement of methods
• Collaboration on change management
• If required, support with installation and (re)qualification of equipment
• Passing on microbiological expertise to laboratory staff as a tutor
• Support with unexpected results and troubleshooting in the laboratory
• Carrying out reviews of GMP-compliant documentation
Your background:
• Master's degree or PhD in microbiology or a closely related field
• Fluency in German and English
• Proactivity, or "can-do attitude"
• Analytical thinking skills
• Understanding of good practice and the basics of classical microbiology
• GMP experience
• Experience in an analytical laboratory is an advantage
• Precise, conscientious and detail-oriented way of working
