As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow HRSD Developer with 5-10 years experience and strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and especially the HR Service Delivery (HRSD) module.
This is an initial contract running for 5 months with option to extend on a long term basis based on the project road maps, starting by January 2025.
The successful candidate will join the ServiceNow Engineering team and work in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment where their contribution will have a direct impact on the organisation and be responsible for driving the design of the solution and implementing end to end.
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will bring technical expertise developing new features, configuring processes, and implementing new modules in ServiceNow. You will also have hands-on experience implementing and developing features and integrating with other systems. You will work in a team of experts with diverse range of skills, fostering a collaborative, knowledge-sharing and learning environment. You will be a part of a team with members from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.
This Senior ServiceNow HRSD Developer will join a small and diverse ServiceNow platform team of 7 Business Analysts, Developers and QAs and work in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment where their contribution will have an impact on the organization.
Team is diverse and works in an Agile way offering end-to-end process with ServiceNow. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passioned with ServiceNow to work within a new development platform.
Responsibilities will include:
• Implement complex functionalities to meet business requirements
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Integrate ServiceNow platform with other systems
• Participate in the design discussions and architectural decisions
• Maintain and support the existing processes
• Manage the development life cycle and deployments between ServiceNow instances
• Participate in ServiceNow major upgrades
• Produce technical documentation
You will possess as many of the following skills as possible:
• Background as Senior Software Developer with 3 years’ experience with ServiceNow, including HRSD
• Experience with Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), including solid understanding of the full HRSD software development life cycle including business requirements analysis, design, testing and deployment
• Experience setting up Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) from scratch, including overall architecture and integrations, and advising on best practices and what works/does not work for given requirements.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow front- and back-end capabilities, including web technologies such as HTML and CSS as well as JavaScript
• In depth knowledge of Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI policies, Validation Scripts and Background Scripts in ServiceNow.
• Strong development skills to implement integrations between ServiceNow and other internal systems using tools, technologies, and protocols such as MID Server, REST, ODBC, LDAP, SOAP, etc.
• Fluency in English
Nice to have:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
• Experience with coordinating ServiceNow major upgrades, resolving conflicts between ServiceNow instances and providing general guidance and good practices to keep all environments in a good shape.
• Solid experience in configuring forms, tables, lists, notifications, and core components such as workflow editor and flow designer
• Certification as ServiceNow certified system administrator is an advantage
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – HRSD
• Additional experience in any of the following modules will be considered an advantage: ITSM, ITOM, SPM, App Engine, Integration Hub, and CSM
