On behalf of our client, an international biopharmaceutical company, Swisslinx is looking for a Specialty Logistics Regional Coordinator. If this is you, you will lead the charge in building and optimizing a cutting-edge, agile distribution network that delivers an exceptional experience to customers and patients, while ensuring smooth operations, seamless 3PL management, and continuous improvement across the board.

Contract type – Contract
Start Date – mid-October
Location – Opfikon, Zurich
Workload – 100%
Duration – 14 months, ending December 2025
Work model – Hybrid

Your mission:
• Deploy and monitor a Global Best in Class, Collaborative, Agile and Real-Time Regional and Differentiated distribution network delivering a “Unique Customer and Patient Experience”
• Manage operations of Regional Distribution Center to enhance the customer service level
• Ensure and manage continuous improvements for a high Customer Service Level and cost effective distribution network towards LOCs on product portfolio and geography responsibility
• Manage daily operations of the 3PLs Inbound & outbound transport operations and RDC Replenishment / restocking operations from RDCs to satellites DC
• Manage and operational troubleshooting on orders and shipments to/from Regional Distribution Centers in area of responsibility in coordination with plants /OpUs and LOCs
• Actively support regular QBRs (Business Performance Reviews) and continuous improvement initiatives of 3PLs (Regional and Local)
• Monitor monthly Key Performance Indicators and Metrics comments within area of responsibilities
• Manage daily 3PLs interfaces IDOCs issues
• Manage Stock reconciliation procedures between Takeda SAP and 3PLs ERP systems including Inventory management activities at 3PLs DCs (stock counts, claims,...)
• Manage daily DCs performance, deviations management & CAPA issues escalation and resolution in coordination with quality
• Sustain GDP compliance and support Internal/External quality Audits
• Review invoices from suppliers in scope of DOA
• Occasional travel to Zurich office as required

Your background:
• 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and logistics/transportation
• Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP)
• Proficient in supply chain systems (SAP LES/MM/SD/FI)
• Ability to work cross-functionally with various business units (OpUs, procurement, finance, IT, etc.)
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at local and regional levels
• Experience in managing complex supply chain issues across diverse cultures
• Ability to resolve ambiguity and align key stakeholders
• Degree in Supply Chain Management
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience in distribution, logistics, and warehousing excellence
• Ability to operate in a regional matrix organization
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Intercultural skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently
• Structured and holistic approach to problem-solving
• Occasional travel to Zurich office as required
