On behalf of our client, an international biotechnology company, Swisslinx is looking for a Process Engineer to design, install, and support equipment and systems at a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Solothurn.

Contract type: Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Solothurn
Workload: 100%
Duration: Until 30/06/2025

Your mission:
• Design, specify, and install new equipment for cell culture, purification, pharmaceutical processing, and plant utilities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production control systems and process equipment.
• Develop and oversee the execution of Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) protocols, including drafting final reports.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions for equipment issues and manage equipment/system change control.
• Act as a subject matter expert in technical investigations and support technology transfer for new products/processes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment and facility performance.
• Manage and execute project engineering tasks related to new equipment installations and modifications to existing systems.

Your background:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering) or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing, preferably with exposure to GMP environments.
• Hands-on experience with process control systems such as Delta-V is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with systems such as PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), Trackwise (Quality Management), and CMMS (Infor) is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of CQV processes and regulatory compliance in biomanufacturing.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and optimizing cell culture, purification, or related processing equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
