On behalf of our client, an international Biotechnology company based in Bern, Swisslinx is looking for a Resource/Finance Analyst to become a part of a small and effective team of business partners responsible for the enablement and global support of R&D Global Regulatory Affairs financial activities and planning, including expense/resource management, portfolio management, integration/consolidation of new business units and performance reporting/analytics.
The role will be supporting Global Regulatory Affairs Leadership Team and sub-teams to effectively plan and manage their function/region budgets. It also includes the commitment to continuous improvement and tight collaboration with internal and external stakeholders globally.
This is a 6-months contract position (extension possible) with a great opportunity to bring your proven knowledge and expertise to an organization that offers a dynamic working environment.

Your mission and role:
- Analyzes and forecasts financial and economic data to provide information for strategic and operational decisions
- Collects, verifies, and analyzes financial information and economic indicators
- Analyzes the financial implications of proposed investments or other transactions to evaluate alternatives against business objectives
- Evaluates industry, economic, financial and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related discipline or Industrial Clerk
- 3-5 years' experience in accounting and finance
- Knowledge of financial analytics and planning
- Different qualifications or responsibilities may apply based on local legal and/or educational requirements
- Experienced with SAP; the systems Open Text, Ariba and Clarity/Smart Core would be a plus
- Comfortable working across the business and with GRA Leadership Team
- Proficient in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Demonstrated ability to tight deadlines, working under pressure, and handle different tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability of being proactive and service oriented towards internal and external customers
