Application Support Specialist

Job description:

On the behalf of our client, we are currently looking for an LIMS Application Support Specialist (80-100%) based in Visp.

The ideal start date is ASAP and the contract end date 31.12.25

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operational support, coordinate projects and changes to the system. It will also includes application support, system administration as well as ensuring GMP compliance of the system.

• Providing 1st and 2nd level of support and troubleshooting for LIMS Software application users
• Ensuring the appropriate systems implementation
• Validating new functions, including documentation documents (functional specifications and test scripts)
• Driving the further development of the new LIMS systems
• Support with LIMS-related DRs / CAPAs / CRs / INVs / EICRs
• Monitoring and management of life cycle of SOPs
• Support during external audits and inspections

Competences:

• Fluent in German and in English
• Laboratory assitant experience or similar experience in Life Sciences/Computer Sciences
• Strong computer skills are required
• Proven experience in GMP regulatory environment and Quality control
• Several years of experience in Pharmaceutical - Laboratory Software (Documentum, LIMS, SAP, TrackWise)
• Knowledge in Computezined system validation (CSV) is an advantage
