Associate Banker

On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution, we are looking for an Associate Banker to join their Strategic Action Unit (SAU) in Geneva. In this role, you will support the account closure process for clients outside of the bank’s target market, ensuring smooth communication, process execution, and risk control.

• Handle client communication throughout the account closure process
• Execute transfer requests and ensure timely completion of all steps until final closure
• Manage KYC checks, account blocking, and documentation requirements in line with internal policies
• Address client queries and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk guidelines
• Support process improvements to increase efficiency and client service
• Escalate and resolve any issues impacting client experience or operational risk

• 1-2 years of experience in client service support within banking (Private Banking or Wealth Management preferred)
• Strong knowledge of banking processes, KYC, compliance, or account documentation is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client interaction professionally
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Proactive team player with a solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent in English (spoken & written); other languages are an advantage

• Strong potential for long-term engagement within an international banking environment
• Exposure to Private Banking processes and regulatory topics
