Job description:
Your Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Reporting:
- Prepare and oversee GRA expense and headcount demand planning and forecasting.
- Track expenditures, manage registration fee invoicing, and coordinate cross-charging processes.
- Perform budget planning, forecasting, and consolidation using systems like BPC/Clarity.
- Create financial status updates and perform variance analyses for GRA Leadership Teams and stakeholders.
Operational Support:
- Ensure accurate preparation of accruals for annual close and monthly reporting.
- Support vendor resourcing activities, including contract management and expense tracking.
- Oversee service purchases, prepare purchase orders in ARIBA, and monitor invoice tracking.
- Maintain labor tracking and reporting for GRA projects in Clarity/Smartcore.
Compliance & Process Improvement:
- Ensure financial controls comply with company standards and local requirements.
- Streamline processes and support GRA with technical issues in SAP/Serrala and related systems.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators across global regions.
- Act as the liaison to global/local finance departments, addressing accounting and operational queries.
Requirements:
Your Background:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proficiency in SAP; familiarity with Serrala, Ariba, and Clarity/Smartcore is a plus.
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analytics tools.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with a proactive and service-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
