Job description:

Your Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Reporting:

  • Prepare and oversee GRA expense and headcount demand planning and forecasting.
  • Track expenditures, manage registration fee invoicing, and coordinate cross-charging processes.
  • Perform budget planning, forecasting, and consolidation using systems like BPC/Clarity.
  • Create financial status updates and perform variance analyses for GRA Leadership Teams and stakeholders.

Operational Support:

  • Ensure accurate preparation of accruals for annual close and monthly reporting.
  • Support vendor resourcing activities, including contract management and expense tracking.
  • Oversee service purchases, prepare purchase orders in ARIBA, and monitor invoice tracking.
  • Maintain labor tracking and reporting for GRA projects in Clarity/Smartcore.

Compliance & Process Improvement:

  • Ensure financial controls comply with company standards and local requirements.
  • Streamline processes and support GRA with technical issues in SAP/Serrala and related systems.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators across global regions.
  • Act as the liaison to global/local finance departments, addressing accounting and operational queries.

Requirements:

Your Background:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP; familiarity with Serrala, Ariba, and Clarity/Smartcore is a plus.

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analytics tools.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with a proactive and service-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
