Our client is a Digital Asset Trading firm.

On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is looking for an experienced Head of Trading Operations to join their team in Zurich. As part of a team of seasoned professionals in traditional and digital finance, the position plays a critical role in scaling and enhancing operational efficiency.

The Head of Trading Operations will oversee all digital asset trading operations, ensuring the trading team can perform seamlessly and at scale. This role emphasizes operational efficiency, compliance, risk management, and strategic initiatives to support the organization’s growth and success.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of trading operations, including designing and maintaining systems and procedures to support business strategies effectively.
• Lead and develop the trading operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement scalable solutions to optimize operations.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to ensure regulatory adherence and mitigate operational risks.
• Partner with the technology team to develop and integrate scalable, automated trading systems and platforms.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for regulatory reporting and process optimization.
• Build and maintain relationships with external service providers (e.g., exchanges, custodians) and internal stakeholders to support operational needs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in operations management within the financial services or digital asset trading industry, including familiarity with trading platforms and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address operational challenges effectively.
• Proven track record of managing teams and fostering a results-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills for engaging with stakeholders and partners.
• Understanding of cryptocurrency markets, including spot and options trading and market-making activities preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives for scalability and automation using technology.
• Strong focus on precision and accuracy in operational processes.
• CH/EU citizen or valid Swiss working permit.
