Job description

Join a leading global biopharma company as a Laboratory Scientist in the Bio-Analytics department. In this role, you'll support analytical potency testing and method implementation activities to meet internal customer needs. Your focus will be on executing and documenting method establishment, sample testing, and troubleshooting activities related to binding and functional assays. You’ll also support documentation, review peer work, and contribute to investigation efforts in a GMP-like environment.

Requirements

  • Executing binding (e.g. ELISA, SPR) or functional (e.g. CBA, enzyme activity) potency assays using existing method drafts
  • Performing method development, pre-validation, and sample testing for non-GMP drug product release and stability
  • Preparing buffers, performing data analysis, and drafting documentation (e.g. SOPs, reports, protocols)
  • Reviewing and approving operational tasks by peers (e.g. buffer prep, pH meter calibration)
  • Driving investigations and troubleshooting method/equipment issues
  • Ensuring compliance with EHS, ISO, and GDocP standards and maintaining audit readiness

Competences

  • Apprenticeship, BSc, MSc or equivalent experience in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field
  • Around 5 years of cumulative experience in the pharma/biotech industry, ideally in a lab-based role
  • Hands-on experience in potency assays and interpreting/documenting scientific data
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Familiarity with tools such as Electronic Lab Notebooks, LIMS, SoftMax Pro, PLA, or DMS is an advantage
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)

Compensation benefits

An exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of analytical methods in a dynamic, cross-functional bio-analytics lab. You'll be part of a collaborative and quality-focused environment with the chance to work on meaningful biopharmaceutical projects.
