Job description
Join a leading biotech company at the forefront of biologics manufacturing. In this role, you’ll be part of the Global Manufacturing Sciences (GMS) team, supporting downstream operations through laboratory studies focused on tech transfer, manufacturing investigations, and process improvements. You’ll work cross-functionally, contribute to documentation and validation activities, and help ensure smooth lab operations in a highly regulated environment.
Requirements
- Executing and documenting purification and filtration studies in a lab environment
- Analyzing samples, interpreting data, and reporting study results
- Supporting ongoing lab operations (e.g., buffer preparation, equipment maintenance)
- Authoring protocols, sample plans, work instructions, and investigation reports
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on tech transfer, CAPAs, and change controls
Competences
- Apprenticeship plus 3+ years, or BSc/MSc in Bioprocess Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related field
- 1–5 years’ industry experience in biomanufacturing, tech transfer, or process development
- Hands-on experience with lab-scale purification and filtration systems
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- A collaborative mindset and good communication skills
- Proficiency with data workflows and analytics tools is a plus
