Job description:
- Conducting research and mechanical concept development for innovative products and hearing instrument systems.
- Performing technical assessments of industrial designs and implementing new hearing instrument components/systems, with a focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- Contributing to Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) processes to ensure robust design and manufacturing strategies.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive design documentation.
- Leading the industrialization of platform components for production readiness.
- Facilitating technical communication with tool and part suppliers to ensure alignment and quality.
- Supporting reliability verification of components and assemblies to meet performance standards.
- Assisting in Product Line Engineering (PLE) activities to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement in hardware integration.
- Conducting competitive product analysis and assessment to inform design strategies
- Contributing to the R&D development process, including planning, review, and refinement of product increments.
- Actively participating in interdisciplinary agile development teams and engaging in team rituals to foster collaboration and innovation.
Requirements:
Very good knowledge in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Established 3D-CAD-Knowledge
- Experience in Micro Mechanics (plastics, rubber and metal)
Language(s):
- German and English
