Project Manager

On behalf of our client, a global leader in the agricultural industry, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support operational excellence initiatives across manufacturing sites, with a focus on maintenance, production performance, and leadership behaviours.

• Perform operational discipline assessments on specific areas of expertise (Maintenance, Production performance, Mindset & Behaviours).
• Identify opportunities for throughput increases and define breakthrough implementation plans.
• Support local Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) teams in developing organizational capability.
• Design new tools, train employees on standardized practices (Production System), and coach leaders.
• Collaborate with functional experts to codify and standardize newly deployed capabilities (tools, processes, behaviours).
• Perform targeted audits on the Production System and issue recommendations for continuous improvement.

Education

• MS/BS in Industrial, Engineering, or Chemical Sciences (or a related 5-year technical discipline).

Experience

• Proven manufacturing experience with relevant scientific background (e.g. process engineering).
• Demonstrated experience in transformation projects and capability assessments.
• Strong knowledge of production performance, maintenance, and lean leadership.
• Change and/or operational management experience.
• Proven record applying project and program management methodologies.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
• Pragmatic mindset and familiarity with the 80/20 approach.
• Ability to influence all levels from shopfloor to senior managers.
• Comfortable working in complex structures without direct line authority.
• Strong stakeholder management and credibility with leadership teams.
• Resilient and self-driven; able to work independently.
• Ability to support and embed new tools and techniques (Industry 4.0 skills are a plus).
• Able to travel and accompany project activities on-site as needed.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Competent in data systems including SAP and data warehouses.
• Clear and structured communicator with strong analytical and teaching capabilities.
