On behalf of our client, a multinational manufacturing company for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutrition sectors, we are looking for a Logistics Specialist responsible for Process order management & Material and inventory management.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Visp
Workload: 100%
Duration: 7 months’
Extension: Possible
Your mission:
• Ensure compliance to applicable regulations (cGMP, EHS, SOX, ISO)
• Request components needed for production from Warehouses (internal and external)
• Organize special release when required with the dedicated MRP
• Receive and control components, label when needed
• Stage, prepare and dispatch components
• Ensure accuracy and alignment between systems and physical inventory
• Store materials accordingly to storage and temperature conditions
• Handle carefully materials to prevent losses and scrap
• Trigger consumable replenishment
• Prepare and ship materials
• Support/backup Logistic Team Leader
Your background:
• Fluency in English, German is a plus
• Advantageous: Apprenticeship or comparable preferably in Logistics Business/Supply Chain/Inventory management
• Forklift driver license is required
• Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferred Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry
• Experience working with Logistics in a manufacturing site
