As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced HR Modernisation Change Lead with outstanding communication skills to support an ongoing HR Transformation Program.

This is an initial contract running for 12 months with strong likelihood to extend on a long term basis (up to max five years) based on the project road maps, with start date by November 2024.

The selected candidate will work under the Supervision of the HR Modernisation Program Manager [Functional Lead] for the duration of the fixed term appointment.

Within the HR Modernisation Program, the Change Lead will drive program activities for business processes, technology and people related changes. This key role will focus on increasing employee and organization adoption to ensure program business objectives are achieved while minimizing organization impacts and disruptions.

The HR modernization project along with the related projects, aims at preparing the HR unit for a transition to different processes and systems. This will involve, amongst others, identifying relevant HR processes, creating, or updating procedures and overall coordination of the project under the guidance of the Program leader.

The change lead will develop a change strategy to drive cross organization engagement and collaboration across all business functions and at all levels of the organization with an emphasis on the people side of change. Partnering with HR Functional Lead, the change lead is responsible for managing the change management plan, tracking issues, risks, and ensuring deliverables are completed. Also, communicating change plan related actions, information, and status is another critical responsibility of the Change Lead.

Project Delivery/Ongoing Implementation responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with the Workday Implementation team to elaborate strategies and plans, including training and communications
• Conduct effective change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and stakeholder analysis
• Define, plan, and execute change management plans to support communication and transition activities
• Develop, deliver, and manage communication, stakeholder, training, engagement, adoption, and resistance management plans
• Integrate change management activities into project plans
• Ensure that information is communicated to impacted audiences throughout the duration of the program
• Manage stakeholder relationships
• Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful execution of the end-to-end change management strategy
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to the change management strategy & methodology
• Build executive presentations and identify risks and issues relating to change management functions
• Facilitate senior-level meetings to surface and resolve sensitive issues and drive alignment
• Consult and coach project teams
• Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
• Coach impacted managers and supervisors
• Manage communications, training, and stakeholder engagement
• Responsible for the success of all change management deliverables

Post Implementation Support responsibilities include:

• Support the capability building initiatives during and post implementation
• Monitor the change and adoption success and take action as required to address any issues


We are looking to hire an experienced Change Lead with experience in moving an organization from an on-premise system to a Cloud-based HR solution. We expect the person to come with an HR background knowledge and experience, ideally in a multinational environment.

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess as many of the following skills as possible:

• At least 5 – 7 years’ experience leading HR strategic transformation programs for global organizations – with significant subject matter expertise in HR processes
• Exceptional, highly polished written and oral communication skills, able to develop executive-level presentations
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing change management principles, tools (e.g Prosci), models, and processes to increase the success of change programs.
• Excellent Technology skills (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / SharePoint), agility and ability to quickly learn
• At least 5 – 7 years’ experience with large scale global change adoption programs people and organizational change`
• Experience in planning and managing complex projects, combining process, organizational change, and technology workstreams
• Experience in creating and delivering training or stakeholder engagement and support materials
• Fluency in English

The following are nice to have but not mandatory:

• Prior expertise in HR process and operating model redesign
• Broad familiarity with several HR processes, and general knowledge of the principles of HR operations, HR legal, compliance and GDPR, compensation and benefits and HR operations and administration.
• Change management certification or designation highly desired, such as Prosci or Change Management Professional™ (CCMP™) certification
Please note interviews would be conducted via video call, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland. Our client offers:
