As one of the premier suppliers to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Alfresco Engineer. The client is seeking an IT Engineer with expertise in Hyland Alfresco to enhance and support its document management system. Ideal candidates will have senior-level experience in Alfresco customization, administration, and problem-solving.
This is a 12 month contract running with chance to extend, sometimes up to five years.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
• Implement and configure the platform as per business requirements and IT architecture
• Implement integrations with third-party systems
• Design high level IT architecture for new features/capabilities to the platform
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design and develop features using Alfresco development framework
• Perform system administration duties
• Perform system maintenance duties, including but not limited to, system upgrades, patching, and overall stability of the system
• Provide application support for end users
• Produce technical documentation
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field desirable or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience with Hyland Alfresco platform and its capabilities as a document and records management systems.
• Excellent knowledge in at least two of the Alfresco main modules: content management services (ACS), federation services (AFS), process services (APS), digital workspace (ADW), and governance services (AGS)
The following is nice to have:
• Any knowledge on Sharepoint Prime & Online, and Cloud would be beneficial.
• Alfresco certification is a plus.
Please note interviews would be conducted via video call, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland. Our client offers:

• 20 days working remotely from abroad per year
• Modern office in central Basel (50 minutes direct train from Zurich) with subsidised canteen
