We are seeking an experienced Red Hat Engineer to join our team as a consultant for a 6-month period. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and resolving production issues within complex IT environments and will possess expertise in Red Hat technologies. This role involves critical responsibilities including the maintenance and enhancement of our eTender procurement platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage the production environment of our eTender procurement platform.
• Develop and implement Ansible playbooks for automation and configuration management.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline implementations to streamline deployment processes.
• Actively respond to and resolve production issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance system functionalities and address system-related concerns.
• Document all technical procedures and configurations.
Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Red Hat Engineer or similar role within a Red Hat environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of Ansible for automation and orchestration.
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues in high-stakes environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification.
• Previous consultancy experience in IT and systems management.
• Familiarity with eTender systems or similar procurement platforms.
