On the behalf of our client in Insurance industry based in Zurich, we are seeking an experienced Release Train Manager (10 month contract). If you are the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the effective management and utilization of various environments including development, testing, pre-production, and production, aiming to streamline our release processes.

The main purpose of this position is to automate our deployments securely and efficiently, adopting a SecDevOps approach throughout our systems.

Main responsibilities :

• Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of development, testing, pre-production, and production environments to ensure stability and availability.
• Develop and maintain release trains for all applications within the program, ensuring a seamless and automated transition through development, testing, and production stages.
• Drive the adoption of a SecDevOps culture within the team, focusing on security at every phase of development and operations.
• Act as a liaison between Project Managers, Lead Developers, and Test Managers to coordinate test and release activities effectively. Ensure all teams are aligned with the project timelines and quality standards.
• Incorporate and enhance test automation within the release trains to improve quality and reduce manual efforts in testing processes.

Your profile :

• Strong experience in managing cloud infrastructures, preferably with certifications in cloud platforms.
• Proven track record as a Release Train Manager or a similar role managing complex application landscapes.
• Exemplary communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical and non-technical content to all stakeholders
• Exceptional collaborative skills, with experience in fostering a teamwork environment.
• Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred
• Fluent in English and good command of German
