Our client is a listed FMCG company.

On behalf our client, Swisslinx is looking for a strategic and hands-on Finance Transformation Manager to be responsible for driving impactful organizational change within a large Finance organisation.

This role requires a strong understanding of complex business operations, financial principles, and the ability to challenge the status quo with innovative, out-of-the-box thinking.
The Transformation Manager will lead cross-functional projects, enabling the Finance organization to meet strategic objectives and improve operational efficiency.

This is a 6 months initial contract with possibility of an extension or conversion into a permanent role. It requires someone to be available immediately and being able to be based in Zurich.

Your mission

Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Partner with senior leadership to identify and prioritize transformation opportunities.
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, detailing scope, objectives and success criteria aligned with business objectives and financial goals.
Financial and Business Acumen:
- Apply financial knowledge to evaluate the cost-effectiveness and ROI of transformation initiatives.
- Utilize business insights to understand the complexities of the organization and its market environment.
Out-of-the-Box Thinking:
- Challenge traditional practices and propose innovative solutions that drive meaningful change.
- Lead brainstorming sessions to encourage creative approaches to problem-solving.
Project Management and Leadership:
- Manage complex, multi-phase projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Provide strong leadership to project teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and a results-driven mindset.
Change Management:
- Drive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new initiatives across the organization.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to inspire buy-in and support.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring alignment and commitment from all key parties.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and changes effectively to ensure alignment and buy-in.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish metrics and KPIs to track the progress and success of transformation initiatives.
- Regularly report outcomes to senior leadership with clear and actionable insights.
Leadership Development:
- Mentor and guide project team members, being an ambassador of the company's values & leadership behaviours

Your background

- Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Management, or a related field
- Significant experience in (leading) transformation projects within complex business environments.
- Min 10 years experience in multinational companies, very broad finance experience
- Exceptional financial acumen and understanding of business operations.
- Experienced with GBS setup.
- Strong project management, change management and leadership capabilities.
- Proven ability to think critically and creatively to challenge the status quo.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on approach, can translate and implement strategy into actions, can make things happen.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver actionable results.
- Adaptable and capable of navigating complex, dynamic environments.
- Highly analytical with a strong focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
- Collaborative leader who inspires teams and drives alignment across the organization.
- Fluent in English
- Available immediately
- Ability to be in Zurich
- Swiss/EU/holder of a valid Swiss working permit
