As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 4+ years experience and broad knowledge of ServiceNow modules and integration skills.

This is an initial contract running for 6 months with option to extend on a long term basis based on the project road maps, with start date latest in January 2024.
This ServiceNow Developer will join a small and diverse ServiceNow platform team and work in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment where their contribution will have an impact on the organization.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will bring technical expertise developing new features, configuring processes, and implementing new modules in ServiceNow. You will also have hands-on experience implementing and developing features and integrating with other systems.

Team is diverse and works in an Agile way offering end-to-end process with ServiceNow. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passioned with ServiceNow to work within a new development platform.

This is a business-as-usual role, and the reason of the opening is to cover all duties in the pipeline.

Responsibilities will include:

• Implement complex functionalities to meet business requirements
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Integrate ServiceNow platform with other systems
• Participate in the design discussions and architectural decisions
• Maintain and support the existing processes
• Manage the development life cycle and deployments between ServiceNow instances
• Participate in ServiceNow major upgrades
• Produce technical documentation.

In order to be considered for this role, you the successful candidate will have a proven track record implementing ServiceNow and supporting and operating the platform on a day-to-day basis and will help us design and implement new processes and functionalities.
You will possess as many of the following skills as possible:

• Experienced ServiceNow Developer with experience in development with ServiceNow knowing at least 3 of the SetviceNow modules
• Excellent technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including experience with at least three ServiceNow modules, especially ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, SecOps, and CSM (any modules are accepted)
• Strong development skills to implement integrations between ServiceNow and other internal systems using tools, technologies, and protocols such as MID Server, REST, ODBC, LDAP, SOAP, etc
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow front- and back-end capabilities, including web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle including business requirements analysis, design, testing and deployment
• Fluency in English
The following are nice to have but not mandatory:
• Experience implementing and configuring HRSD will be considered an advantage
• Experience in configuring forms, tables, lists, notifications, and core components such as workflow editor and flow designer
• Certification as ServiceNow certified system administrator and/or developer and/or architect is an advantage

Please note interviews would be conducted via video call, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland. Our client offers:
