One of our major clients in Zürich, Switzerland - a leading, well-known Bank - is looking for a System Administrator (Linux, Scripting, Cluster Environments) to join a contract opportunity of 12 months (with good chance to be extended)

Your tasks:

• You are operating Global Data Platform components (VM Servers, Kubernetes, Kafka) and applications (Apache stack, Collibra, Dataiku and similar)
• Support and implementation for Collibra API / Services
• System administration for Collibra (Userbase, Access)
• Collibra Edge server configuration and maintenance
• Managing documentation (solution design, security concept, blueprints)
• You participate as a team player in the CI/CD pipeline integration
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Incident management and root cause analysis
• Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs

Your profile:

• Proven experience in managing Systems/Applications as admin in Linux (or Unix)
• Advanced scripting (Bash/Python)
• Experience in operating and working with complex data environment (from data integration to data consumption and catalogue (MDM))
• Experience in cluster environment operations (Kubernetes, Distributed Storage like S3/HDFS)
• Experience with APIs/Web services
• VM setup and scaling, K8S scaling, managing Docker with Harbor, pushing Images through CI/CD together with development team
• Financial industry would be a plus
• English mandatory, German would be an advantage

Place of work: Hybrid, Office Zürich 3 days per week and work from home 2 days per week
