As the premier supplier to our client based in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as a User onboarding & provisioning support engineer for a 12-month contract.
The role also includes performing some technical support tasks, end user training and delivery of small projects within the Service Desk team.
The Role:
- JML (Joiner / Mover / Leaver) of users with the creation / migration user accounts, desk setups / Moves, PC / Laptop / VDI’s builds / mobile device configuration – managing the end-to-end lifecycle of the request
- End user engagement with IT equipment handover and sign-off and day 1 basic overview / training
- 1st / 2nd level support of devices handed over to users with initial deep dive investigation in case of issue
- Asset management of all IT hardware and keeping inventory up to date
- Continuous improvement and upgrades / rollouts for IT assets to latest hardware standards
- Working together with the IT and business teams to develop better and smoother onboarding solutions
- Communicate thoroughly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders around application and 3rd party software account and access creation
- Disposal of hardware / screens / devices to charity

Technical Experience:
- MS SCCM, PC / Desktop Builds, Windows 11, MS O365, Market Data (Bloomberg / Reuters)
- MS AD / MS Entra (user account management), Microsoft Exchange (add / remote / create mailboxes)
- Service Desk ITSM Tools (Jira)
- Basic Citrix / vSphere knowledge for creation of VDIs
- Mobile iOS knowledge

Our minimum requirements include:
- Education on degree level in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 3 years of user IT experience with high level onboarding / user training skills
- Analytical Thinking and ability to bring new ideas to the team
- Excellent interpersonal, time keeping and management skills with ability to delivery time critical tasks
- Well-structured person and eager to take ownership
- Fluent in English written and spoken
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a global team
- Onsite 100%
