Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a Junior Software Test Engineer to join their team. This is an entry-level position, perfect for candidates with only 1 year of experience in software and hardware testing.
You will work in a global team, helping improve diagnostic systems that involve elements like robotics software, fluidics, and mechanical components. Your responsibilities will include designing and running tests to ensure the systems are reliable and performing well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, review, and execute test cases.
- Report and document defects found during testing.
- Analyse data and present findings to the team.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve system issues.
What You Need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Informatics, Life Sciences, or relevant job experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in software and hardware testing, ideally in the diagnostics or support environment.
- Willingness to work in regulated environments like labs with biosafety levels.
- A team-oriented mindset and an interest in solving technical problems.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus).
