As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Findur Developer to implement a new software platform to enhance the bank’s primary trade capture system as part of a long term strategic project.

This is an initial contract running for 12 months with strong likelihood to extend on a long term basis (up to max five years) based on the project road maps, with start date flexible.

The Findur Developer will work in a team to implement solutions in and around Findur to meet the needs of stakeholders.

Protects the department’s business processes by ensuring that the Bank’s standards for system documentation, version control, change management, testing and backup/recovery are applied appropriately to departmental development. This role is part of the Findur strategic project.
Responsibilities includes:

• Design, implement and test enhancements and bug fixes in Findur;
• Document design and implement decisions;
• Interacts with other IT groups in the organisation for systems design, integration, standards and change management.

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess as many of the following skills as possible:

• Experienced in development with Findur/Endur and OpenComponents
• Programming experience in Java/.NET
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps), Enterprise Log Management platforms (e.g. ELK stack)
• Solid knowledge of design and integration patterns, in particular event-driven architecture
• Experience working with distributed systems architecture
• Fluency in English

The following are nice to have but not mandatory:

• Solid knowledge of multi-tier architectures
• Solid experience with various data sources: messaging queues, databases, files.
• Some level of experience in financial transactions and operations;
• Business process modelling/implementation
• Experience with SQL Database, experience with Microservice, Kafka and Kubernetes will be a plus
• Experience with the secure software development lifecycle is a plus
• Experience with electronic trading solutions is a plus

Please note interviews would be conducted via video call, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland. Our client offers:
